What is contract renewal intelligence?

Contract renewal intelligence is a forward-looking view of public sector contracts approaching their end date. It shows the buyer, the contract value, the trade category and the incumbent supplier, so a supplier can position a bid before the renewal is formally contested. It is not a lead list and contains no personal contact data.

The three questions it answers

How it differs from a lead list

A lead list tells you who to call. Contract renewal intelligence tells you when a market is about to reopen. The commercial advantage is timing, not contact data — and timing is the part competitors consistently miss, because they wait for the formal advertisement rather than watching the expiry dates.

Why timing decides the outcome

UK public sector renewals are typically won three to six months ahead of the existing contract ending. Suppliers who work the 90 to 180 day window arrive with a relationship and a proposition already formed. Suppliers who wait for the published notice arrive into a contest that is already shaped around the incumbent.

Where the data comes from

The records are official UK public sector information published under the Open Government Licence v3.0 on Contracts Finder, compiled and re-derived into a renewal view. ER Monarch is an independent market intelligence platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official service of the UK Government, Crown Commercial Service or Contracts Finder.

386 live UK renewals tracked. 122 inside the active bid runway.
